Hi I ve just joined up and last week acquired a mk2 cav saloon with a genuine 17k miles. From the outside you wouldn't think its only done that with the rusty bonnet roof and boot but the arches sills and underside are mint! Will get some pics sorted soon! Iam on with the carb as the choke ain't engaging with it being the varajet 2 not many about! Keep looking for future updates!

Finally time had came to get the cav on the road. Now being tax/mot exempt I went straight to post office and got that sorted. Fitted sri alloys gave her a wash and Polish. Been to work in her today all good upto now. Getting use to the brakes which I want to throw a set of 256mm one one if any one has any for sale?

It's a thermometer looks like someone has kindly dropped it in. Know your pain trying to fill up.

Well went to fuel up and went ok other than fuel coming out of breather pipe. There is no blockages now as took it all off and made sure cleaned it all out blew it through with compressor!
