well as promised heres my intro,drive a 2002 astra been played with subtly as my daily driver,actually ben registered on here for 3 years now but rarely get the chance to get on to other forums,i run my own VX forum along with my brother-in-law which keeps us busy and we're 3 years old this year.

Brought project heap on sunday and to be hyonest its been a nightmare from day 1,its a 1600 base model,80000 original miles,all previous mot's and part history,drives superbly but the body lets it down,brought it from an old boy who had it for years and has donbe various body repairs(badly),dont know what he used but whatever paint i try putting on gets bad reations,after a trip to Grey DJ who is a top man and really knows hes stuff i got new arches,wings and bonnet,so its a start.Anyway heres a couple ofpics and i look forward to getting to know you all on here.

well done for saving her most people would have just left her to end her days on the banger track if you think you've got a hard task ahead of you just take a look at gregs lx project thread  now thats what i call dedecation i brought an x reg 1.3 base model 2 years ago and i still have not got round to finishing it  ;D ;D

Its really easy to lose faith,it took me over 4 hours to get one doorpin out,even broke the end off the tool,turns out the pin had broken in 3 different places,thats the sort of thing i'm finding with this car,anything i do turns into a major headache,i even tried locating a new door cos i thought i would have to cut my door off of the car,done in the end though,i wont let this one beat me now

Ta Ken,found that one a while ago on ebay and was going to go and look at the interior plastics but then realised its highly probable they are green.I'm looking for black/grey.

You can ask on here for virtually anything, somebody somewhere will probably have it, try your luck.

Just because its in northern Ireland doesn't matter at all, the postage on a pallet etc IS exactly the same as say london to manchester.
