Hello people of the mk2 following,iv been a member for sometime now but havent really had chance to say hi :-[

My names andy and i formally ran/owned a custom body work garage for 5 years down in cornwall(done on or two members cars in my time i do beleave) hence my soon to be changed user name :-\ lol

I have a E plate SRI hatch finished in monaco blue and i have had the car for about 4-5 years i think.

In that time i have fully rebuilt the body(pics to follow soon)and have poped an xe under the bonnet to keep things intresting 

This is my second mk2,my first was an F plate 130 saloon in red,i was 18 at the time(a few moons ago lol) and i went down the moddified route,will post pics of the ol girl soon to see what you think! 8)

I know a few of the members on here (steffi back me up here!!! ;D )and have one or two of you fine people come up to me at the odd show and comment on my car so thanks if that was you

I dont want to waffle on to much but i am looking at comeing along to billing with you guys with my mrs and our 1year old daughter so if i dont get to post any pics before that then you shall see my mk2 then

Looks like you have some sort of photosharing account, if there is a way to make it give a link with .jpg etc.. on the end of it just paste that link up and add the http://tags as detailed below.

Im looking at poping up on the friday at some point in the avo and am looking to b&b it as im bringing my 1year old daughter and sadly much to my dismay she doesnt like late nights,loud music and cider yet so dont think camping would be to her likeing lol

Dont supose you have any ideas as to wheres best to stay up around there do you?

If you wanting a B&B near Billing you may have to do abit of searching because its GP weekend and northampton is the hub for many F1 fans

If they are fully booked then its not game over just yet,if the mrs does decide not to go(she does sometimes wonder what all the fuss is about when it comes to the mk2!!!! lol) then i shall be comeing up with a mate and will be shareing a jar with anyone whos offering on the camp site
