July 18, 200719 yr comment_63118 A good friend of mine used to have a mk2 cav 1600 GL which he had from when it was about 8 months old. He eventually sold the car in 1995 with just gone 400,000 miles on it. (On its second engine).He then bumped into the the car and guy who owned it a few years later in a garden centre who told him it was coming up to 500k.This car travelled the world, going to sweden,switzerland many times, into the archtic circle. He even drove it to greece and italy a few times toThe car hasnt been seen since. It would be great to know what happened to the car as it was such a big part of my friends life. Is there a way of finding out if the car is still going somewhere, or been sorn'd or has now been scrapped? Report
