March 21, 200620 yr comment_33200 Hi ppl, i my name is james and everyone calls me Jt, i am the proud owner of a mk2 cav convertable in navy blue which i got cheap for a summer bash and next winter project. This is me 3rd mk2 cav i had a sri and a gl which were both great cars. I have big plans for the cabrio including turbo power, westminster blue respray, decent lowered suspension and leather interior etc.... Now i buy total vauxhall every month and have found that all they list for the cavalier is after market exhausts, where can i find the suspension and more importantly a new hood??????I will be asking for help from you guys in the future and hope that you'll all help as best as you can.Cheers Jt Report

March 21, 200620 yr comment_33230 contact mark about a hood - but it pays to be a member!Anything is possible if you are a member. I will get on the case anyway. What colour do you want? White, black, blue, red, cream? What material, Mohair, Vinyl, Double duck? They start at about £200 up to about £700 plus fitting.O nearly forgot, a headlining is another £150 and a tonneau cover is about £100. March 22, 200620 yr comment_33313 to be honest which ever will be water tight and keep the heat in lol, i have a cover but the roof linning is shot, black would be the best i think, cause i'm going to do a black leather grey trim theme inside. On that note does anyone know how hard it would be to put a mk3 cav dash in??? are the dimensions the same cause they look it???? March 22, 200620 yr comment_33350 It depends on what ypu want it to look like.A mohair one (about £400) looks the best, a vinyl one will keep you dry but looks like an Es**** type. (Not brilliant). Report
