hi folks have had a mk2 sri for a few years bought for £55 and went straight thru mot.took it home binned all the interior and got sum harnesses.have hoared loads of goodies &have now sripped wings to underseal & start to fit my lowered suspension & big brake kit from a vectra have strut brace& braided lines too.was wondering if any bristol based lads want to meet up for a chat and swap ideas. 8)

thanks 4 the welcome my cavvy is a C reg saloon with 70thou genuine on the clock only rust is in o/s rear arch and round headlight bezel.always wanted a track car & street sleeper & u cant beat the 80`s styling.plans this summer incl.fitting all the front sussy & brakes & shaltzing all the under side of the car.fitting my rear disks & probarbly cut out spare wheel well,plating boot flat & fittting an alloy tank with a red top pump.have an auto elecy coming this weekend to price up moving fusebox & all switch gear to my home made dash housing.phew i`m gonna b busy.still looking 4 local lads to meet up though.

;D have the 1800 E engine but am going to fit my 2 litre from an early mk3 sri g reg havent thought to much into it yet,prob wait until i blow the original up then modify.

After reading latest edition of Total vauxhall,have decided to remove engine and take out all bulkhead sound deadening,as the silver astra featured.wud like thoughts on wether or not to bin heater or poss. fit 1 from an old mini as is a lot smaller,am still in debate as wot 2 do,even though it is for the track & fun days on the ringroad wud still like it 2 b practical.will post sum pics when i learn how to down load pics from camera.

have bin looking @ the rolling road day in t/v mag & on this site.Cudn't believe how close a looky like C80 KFF was to mine except 4 the door rubbers its identical.P.S.Am on the look out 4 a dashboard to go in mine.cut all the glovebox out & don't like it.whoops!
