Just floating an idea of putting frost bite back on the calendar?  Thoughts?  Location and date obvs the biggest issues?

We just need to see who might be interested and then pick as central location.  Years gone by it was Northampton type way.  One year was Newbury.  We just need to see if folks are up for it.  If its not this year we need to float it onto the diary.  We could also float dates for a road trip away in the warmer months with deposits from people keen.....thoughts to discuss

I would be interested in it Greg but would suggest a 'target' and  a fall-back date in case of chronically  bad weather forecast for target date (or chronically salted roads)

I will be taking the Cav on a long tour of the UK in June this year, aiming to cover mid-north Wales, Lake District and the Scottish NC500. My son-in-law will accompany me in an old Range Rover Classic which he is attempting to get roadworthy (more of a water-logged  ditch find than a barn find).

So, I don't mind a longish 'shake-down' run in the Cav early in the year.

So not many takers it seems (on here)

If I was picking dates its non 6Ns rugby weekends......location would be down the A30 / A303 from me somewhere....that said heading down the M4 towards wales is also an option.

I think if we just pick a location and a date.   We shall see who shows.   And who doesn't.

The only issue there. Is accommodation and drinks ect.  But spot on for a day.
