afternoon all just purchased an sri 130 in a bad way so will be picking brains throuout the project.

So when you say bad way, it looks ok.  Is it a bit crusty underneath, boot, rear corners etc?

Its got inner sills so its not too bad at least.  Looks good, keep the updates coming.

Does anyone know if there is a repair panel available for in fuel neck

There was once, but you'd be better cutting one out of a donor (if you find almost ANY early car in a deservedly breakable state its fuel filler will be mint!) Incidentally - my 130 went as badly as that around the filler - we call that "luton prep" ;)

Stripped engine and found a crack in the block. It's only between 2 waterways?but

 

anybody got a spare block kicking around ?

Does anyone know what blocks are the same as head and rest of engine is all good  head says 20e on it ?????

it should have an engine number stamped on a ledge above the no4 spark plug if its a 130 engine the engine no starts with 20seh if it reads 20ne it one of the 115bhp engines all 2 litre blocks should be the same

 

Can you get the metal stitched on  that?
