got a mk2 SRi hatch, 84/85 B reg been told a previous owner was/is a member on here. Looking forward to a good winter project with it! ;D

Hi and welcome, that looks a nice car,has it always been on the island? Isle of Lewis, you are lucky living there what a lovely part of the world been there twice years ago.

Does the car want much doing to it? In the past i have had a lot of rare parts via ebay from Lewis.

I recognise that SRi, its Simmys old one. Nice one for buying it and welcome to the site 

only came onto the island about a year ago if i can remember correctly, the boy i bought it off picked it up in fife. theres a few wee niggly problems on it that need sorting, but nothing major, going to give it a strip down over the winter and possibly a colour change, so far i'm not 100% stuck on that one though! been thinking about 5 studding it and putting cav turbo fans on it as well.

one big small problem is...the fuel guage doesn't work, what could this be? the float in the tank? or the guage itself?

May be the float, short the line to the float to earth and see if the gauge goes hard over to full thats how i checked the one on my 130.

how did you get on with the fuel pump i gave you,did u get it going,
