July 19, 200521 yr comment_13698 hi, i'm new to this forum and wondered why there seems to be more original cabbys for sale than sri 130s (even when you consider the low number of cabbys made compared to 130s) Report
July 19, 200521 yr comment_13703 number of possble reasons behind this1) SRI130's were about the most stolen car in the UK in it's day, as a result a lot of them were written off.2) Cabbys were normally used as 'second/weekend/fair weather' cars, again most of the ones i have seen have been garaged and most of them don't get a lot of use during the winter.3) Cabbys seems to less vunerable to modding as well, it seems that modding boys prefer the tin top cars, also the Cabby was never really considered competition against the Golf GTi or Escort cabriolet.
