hi all  my names Leon i have joined the site because i want to buy a mk2 cav once ive saved up sum cash would really like to build up a salloon cav with a 2litre 8val with a few tuning goodies such as a kent cam and r1 carbs, only trouble is can not seem to find a mk2 cav saloon to restore :'(

I am savin up at the moment to buy one currently am just working for job agencys but really want a mk2 cav i just think that there so retro these days would love a wreck really as i like a challenge i see a post on here about a cavilers in a field does anyone know if the old guy would sell me a cav saloon? to sav and turn into a retro warrior  :P  many thanks guys from leon

mate there is challenge and then there is something much harder, the cavs in that field are beyond rotten!

get the money saved up and then just keep an eye out they do come up now and then, also ebay is a good place to keep an eye on

welcome pal ;),good luck in search for a saloon although there is one for sale on pistonheads

welcome mate. try to go for a cav that doesnt look too bad. once you get a car that looks in fair condition theres no doubt that there will be a list as long as your arm before youll be happy with it
