The lights should stay on when the ignition is switched off and go out when one of the front doors is opened, does the interior light work?

Over here normally smaller cars like astras are 90% hatch while bigger ones like vectras 90% are saloon. In the showroom buying an astra saloon is more expensive than a hatch While buying a vectra hatch is more expensive than a saloon. This goes for all makes with their relitive size cars, i dunno why ???

Uprate the springs and shocks, if there are any worn bushes then replace them too. Id fit standard ones as poly ones make everything over stiff and a bit uncomfortable on the road in my opinion. The car should handle very well. What size wheels and tires have you got?

Ive seen the 3.0 v6 engine put into a mk2 astra so if it fits in that then it will deffo fit into a cav Thets not saying its easy like just possible. As for banding the wheels i know a lot of rally boys used to do it but they weren't worried about balancing. This was a big problem for anyone wanting to use them on the road. Still its been a while since ive been on the mini scene so maybe things have changed

Finding a good cdi could be hard, Personally id look at an sri or something along that line 130s are going for a lot more money when there isnt that huge a difference really As for mini electrics i ended up replacing the whole loom as i got sick of tracing endless problems ;D
