    Never was a 1.6injection made foe the ascona c. These engines only in the mk3 opel vectra Welcome along to the forum hope you enjoy. Any pics of ur manta and ascona?
  7. Our town here used to be full of 130 at a time. They were in pritty good nick to. There was a silver one home from England that was chipped and it was able to take 3rd gear in the dry tar no problem

    Yea the diagnostic pug from the mk 3 loom is over beside the passenger strut too. Why don't you use all the mk2 bits. The Calibres run on the same ECU as the 130 engine if it was me I would use all thde origainal Calibre stuff

    Are you still using the MK 2 loom, ECU and airflow meter cause changing the engine alone shouldn't be that much different. The diagnostic plug is just before the loom enters the through the bulkhead at the passengers side

    Seen it cracking on a Gold 130 hatch with a valver in her. Think he was spinning and when he reached for second gear it snaped :Ha :Ha :Ha

    Yep rear beam screws straight on you have to get the handhreak cables too

    Welcome along conor nice to see some more people from Ireland into the MK2 cav. If you are looking for any parts give me a pm there a few 130s broken up in Donegal. And all the best with you new 130. Any Pics? Colour? Spec? Is it freestate or English????
