July 29, 200818 yr comment_86696 hi everyone, well erm... describe myself... erm... I'm 15, i love cavaliers, because my dad had an old blue Mk2 i think was A reg, and he has since had a white Mk3.anyways.i have a few Mk2 cavs from vanguards in 1/43rd scale and i want to paint one the same light blue that my dads was, the colour on this paint lid is near enough, but i have the paint and it is a really light blue that is completely different from the lid colour, can anyone tell me what the cavalier colour is called and then i may be able to mix my own, thanks for your help.here is the link to the lidhttp://www.fredaldous.co.uk/shop_images/product_fullsize/372380159.jpg Report
July 29, 200818 yr comment_86700 Little pots of paint like what you use to paint airfix models? They generally dry out much lighter than they look.Other than that have a look through the site and see if you can find a pic of a car in the colour you want, someone will know the name paint code for it.Then go down to halfords and ask them to make you up a touch up bottle in that code, that way you get the exact colour (well near enough being halfords) What would Gordon do?
