A JOY TO DRIVE.SADLY THE ELECTRIC WINDOW CONTROL SWITCHES REMAIN ILLUMINATED. THESE ARE THE ONE'S JUST BEHIND THE GEAR STICK. I'M TOLD THEY SHOULD TURN OFF WHEN THE CAR IS LOCKED.ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM??IS SO CAN YOU ADVISE??CHEERS. Report

April 20, 200719 yr comment_56593 yes the should power off when the ignition is off.....i would pull them out and have a look at the loom and see it there is a short, alternative try and get another switch set from the scrapyard and see if the printed circuit board has gone funny Report

April 20, 200719 yr comment_56615 the switches still have power when the ignition is switched off so that you can operate the windows without putting the key back in (quite handy i think) . check to see if the switch lights go out after the interior light has gone out (with the key out of the ignition) , thats how they worked in my mk3!.
