Hi guys and girls just thought i would let you know i have saved a cabby from the scrap yard,i bought this off ebay a couple of weeks ago and after alot of thought decided to put it back on the road, its having a fair bit of welding done as it has been stood outside a couple of years the last keeper had owned it since 1992. any info on the cars history would be great

looking at it here it does look in pretty ok condition.

It's an '86 model, it doesn't look like it has been messed around with at all, although the wheel trims would not have been standard, those look like GL wheeltrims.

If you want to find out some of the history then i would recommend asking DVLA, the cost is £5 and it will give you info such as previous owners.

Good luck.

Should have lots of fun. If the motor is in good shape will surprise a few people as well!!

cheers Roger

if you ever get rid of the wheel trims then PM me as im after them, i have 2 new ones but need another 2.
